first, i've decided to rename Xiang4Xiang4 'Elfy'
Elfy makes cheng dizzy on bus rides.
Why? cos i feel like it. DUH lol.
now moving on to my bday, 21/7 had been fab!
was expecting e day to be just another friday, work + jammin as per normal
ended up w TWO surprise bday cakes, both chocolate (DUH) haha
oh well, e cake frm Sony Gallery peeps din come as a surprise

alan: Oie, Why is there a cake in e fridge?
cheng: hmmmm...*tinks hard* errr....*decides there're no other possibilities* cos...it's my bday today?

but e cake frm band peeps really caught me by surprise.
they pretended they DIN KNOW it's my bday.
but i DINrealize they're pretending to NOT KNOW. cos i knew they knew. so all e while we're on diff wavelength.
cheng: so my colleague alan gave e bday surprise away *blab* *blab* *blab*
ling: *grunts* (looks away, acts blur)
cheng: *blab* *blab* and everyone's gettin me chocolates *blab* *blab* *blab* (oblivious dat ling's acting oblivious)
ling: *mumbles* (spaces out)
you see. we had an earlier discussion bt gg for a drink on fri nite. i presumed it was for my bday (it was nv specifically stated, i ASSUMED, living in a world of my own, as usual keke)
and i tot it was the ONE AND ONLY plan (hence din expect e cake, otherwise my out-of-e-world intelligence wld have seen it coming)
so it's a blessing in disguise dat i'm a muddleheaded bimbo :D
to sum it up, e bday surprise was a success
cheng is happy, very very veryveryveryveryyyyyyy happy~

ok back to Elfy. so far i've watched 2 movies on Elfy. let's overlook e fact dat e batt only lasts 3hrs n it died on me when i was mid way thru e 2nd show
i shall not get angry w Elfy.
i'm immensely fascinated by dis show. e ending was kinda cliche, e acting was pretty average, but e sci-fi part is intriguing.
basically loaded sucker-parents get expensive microchips(Zeo chips) implants for their kids to record every moment of their(e kids') lives.
the deceased w Zeo implants wld get their Zeo (memory) records editted by a 'cutter' (Robin Williams) who'd summarize their entire life into a glamourized movie clip for e living to admire during a 'rememory' service.
how sick. someone totally unrelated decides how you wld be remembered by e rest of e world.
n u dun get to decide if u wan an implant. ur parents do. so e moment u're born, ur privacy is robbed. everyone else ard you too.
angry kids tattoo themselves w electromagnetic ink to interfer w e microchip. rather mutilate themselves than pretend saint 247.
if i find out my parents got me an implant, i'd stop wearin contact lenses so i becum half-blind n everything appears fuzzy.
dis's good too. e director takes uninformed time leaps but it doesn't get confusing. bagus! e whole movie's kinda grey n sad and i luv their lines!

n i was at JP feeling an uncontrollable need to spend money.
i cant curb e desire. so i compensate by buying cheap clothes :P (everywhere's having sales, i HAD TO do it)
i tink gers are lucky cos they cld get clothes cheap.
oh well guys dun face e same social pressure to buy one thousand and one tops when they have e same number of boobs (size is another matter)
