so i was inspired to make a mini me too~

went Arts Friend at bras basah to get e material,

i noe i cld have gone to Popular at JP/JE, but now dat i'm jobless n out of sch, lao niang has all e time to spare so if i wanna travel 45min to buy sth dat's available 5min away IT'S MY OWN FU*KING BIZ!!!

yeah i noe i'm defensive. it's e hormones.


wore new heels~ almost slip n fall n die cos e sole has negligible friction and e pointed front is killing me

but i'm still luving it :D

anyway i spent 1hr+ browsing Arts Friend when all i need is some metal wire + paper clay

my last experience with paper clay was way back in lower sec, when paper clay's going at $1+/pack

now they're selling for $3+

either i'm gettin real old or my allowance is falling behind market inflation.


and i ended buying dis too. hot glue gun. thou i have no use for it.period.


borrowed some lib books on figurine making.


first step, sketch a draft, use thick metal wire + aluminium foil to make e skeleton


while i was taking out e modelling pen frm its packaging IT SNAPPED. bad omen.


cover e alum foil w paper clay. mini me looked like an extra frm Corpse Bride


and 'i' have uneven boobs. wtf.

e challenging part is e head, i spent almost 3hrs mouldin my face, it's so fuckin difficult to get everything tight

at one pt i made e chin too sharp n ended up lookin like Jade Seah =..=

e nose + lips are nightmare, mini me doesnt have an upper lip, cos larger me doesnt noe how to make it :P


i like my eyebags.

tomolo i'm gonna make e hands + feet. den i'd be makin clothes + accessories for mini me~ how exciting~

but i dunno wat to do abt e hair. cant tink of anything dat could simulate my puffy perms

hmm mini me shall remain bald while i check out spotlight/golden dragon :P
