daphne (e lady boss) was tactful: chengwei, you'd take a break tomolo.
what she really meant:
chengwei we're overstaffed i dun pay you 6.50/hr to sit at e counter, drink kopi, play othello w other slackers, make frequent trips to e toilet, n self-extend your lunch break to as long as you like it.
hur hur hur.
not dat i mind e break, I SHALL DECLARE IT AS HANDICRAFT DAY~
so i woke up dis
i tot i'd finish up mini cheng, sew, and prepare fri+sun's jamming
oh well, there's a reason why i call myself ambitious :P only managed to complete one task: dat it, sewing :D
nah, i DIN sew this.
bought dis skirt online at a steal, and i'm so totally luving it.
mini flare skirts are godsend for big bums like mine :D
the skirt looked pretty easy to sew, so i tot i shall be a copycat and sew another replica in a diff colour!
bought some stretchy jersey frm spotlight at $4/m.
i tink spotlight's a total ripoff. most of e fabric's gg at $10+/m. i found 2 jersey material dat pretty mich look and feel e same, but one's selling at $13/m WTF. one carls' junior meal gone.
so cheapskate me bought e cheaper fabric. i have a gut feeling my amateurish sewing skills prob gonna cost me a few metres b4 i produce anything wearable.
anyway i shall skip e boring sewing part. i usually find handicrafts therapeutic, but sewing is different. sewing makes me GROUCHYYY. grrr.
oh well imagine having to redo some parts a zillion-time till you tink you'd rather drop dead. *tugs at hair* i snapped at my mom.
but den again, my mom's irritating.
end product~ took me forever to get e gathers right. e corsage is frm Msia~
and i realized i made it too short. fuck. tinking of adding tulle+lace beneath to make it fluffy + conceal watever dat's not meant to be seen. or maybe wear black leggings beneath to fake jap LOL
e back. pardon my contorted toes. i is cold :P
too many projects gg on. haii guess mini cheng has to wait till e roadshow's over~
