i know i havent been blogging as religiously as i used to

of course my lack of life has a part to play

but it's really bcos i havent been in e right state of mind to blog

so far my first 2 wholemeal loafs turned out

errr..

edible.


the ingredients. trying out e recipe dat comes in e manual. heard dat they usually sux, but wanna play safe b4 tryin out anything adventurous :P


dumping everything in. they said it's impt the order u add each ingredient. i nv figured out when to add the yeast. it's stated in e manual not to let e yeast come into contact w water when i place them into e mixer.

wtf. lidat how to ferment e flour?!

and as soon as e mixer activates the yeast wld mix with the water isnt it?

*scratches head*

nvm wadever i've been doing has been producing positive results. i'd juz take it as it is hur hur.


the dough. my first loaf was 100% wholemeal :D

and it is ultra hard.


very dense and texturized. i like! although it's a pain to saw slice e loaf

for e first time, my mom din make any noise when she saw e new(technically speaking it's not lol) gadget in e kitchen

usually she'd nag at me for wasting $$ n wasting time

but dis time round she actually likes e idea. n e bread of course. she gobbled 2slices up immediately o.O

Mom: cos it's 100% wholemeal

now u know where i get my obession with health food frm hur hur.


2nd attempt i replaced 1cup wholemeal flour with normal white flour so e dough wld rise higher.

m i speaking a foreign language to you? LOL


yeah~ filling's soft n fluffy dis time. but i forgot to change e settin for e crust. still ultra hard.

i like my bread chewy, actually i like e crust, but it's a tad overkill

not to mention i have mouth ulcer. m tearing when i'm chewing on the bread =..=


yeah i tink it looks like sponge cake too LOL.

once upon a time on a dark stormy night i travelled from Boon Lay to Marine Parade, yes i repeat again MARINE PARADE, for steamboat with Kai n Hammi.

Hammi used to be human, with a decent human name. but frm e day it declared itself as a hamster, it is only known as HAMMI.

yar, HAMMI the hamster.


Hammi's signature pose. i came to a conclusion dat hamster do not have fat cheeks. they have SWOLLEN cheeks, from excessive rubbing.

so kids, dun rub ur cheeks at home LOL.

kai was nowhere to be seen bcos we dun like her err she's biz eating i tink LOL.

oh man. now i'm craving for steamboat again grrr. my mouth ulcer gonna luv e experience :D

went to dis fab korean charcoal bbq near tanjong pagar to celeb lucas's bday

er yeah. i tink dat was 2mths ago LOL.






e food was fantastic. taste pretty genuinely korean hur hur, complete with wheat tea. e spread of side dishes is orgasmic to look at LOL


i tot dis was particularly interesting. it's not soy sauce but honey sauce!

maybe i'm juz SK haha.

great. now i'm craving for korean bbq too.
