Saturday by the Bay

last weekend was pretty eventful

it's weird that i'm seeing more of my university frens AFTER graduation LOL

and things do happen for a reason, i totally screw up on Friday bcos it's FRIDAY THE 13TH.

it's the circumstances. it's not me. *disillusional nod* hur hur.

anyway, went shopping on Sat with someone least expected, Mr. L.

anyway he's a crappy uni fren of mine. he makes you feel like:

Er. the point is (if there's any), we went Vivo on Sat, and got Dragon Gate at Harbour Front~


the place feels dated and HK



wasn't planning to get buffet initially, but buffet seems like a better deal (it's almost $4/item while buffet's $20/pax) and buffet includes vegetable/porridge/char siew/dessert (but there's only 1type the most 2 to choose from)

hmm Dragon Gate is ok but not fantastic, it actually reminds me of Red Star, but their fried items were better cos it's fresh. Red Star parades the fried item, by the time it reaches you, you're getting stale fried dumplings LOL

and we got a shock when we asked for mayonnaise


maybe the auntie tinks we're skinny :D

sigh. I still miss HK dimsum :(

and retail therapy does work! :D but i ended up buying casual clothes when i shd be getting stash for work =..=

later in the evening i met up with the econs girls for dinner. we were at esplanade which was FREAKING CROWDED.

they were having NDP rehearsal.
people mountain people sea lor. hur hur.


we were eating at glutton sq when they set off the fireworks. the fireworks were FABULOUS, you won't appreciate it till you see it for yourself!

but i was lazy to take pics :P so pls use ur imagination.
