my blog's dying, again. *shrugs*
new year resolution for 2008: update blog more often to pretend i have a life
therefore i'm gonna flood my blog with random pics and captions, to appear entertaining so as to maintain my pathetic-to-begin-with readership
i is strategic :D

hello everyone, this is chris.
errrr....let's just say Chris is your average gadget guy, and he's totally in love with his just-acquired Sony Ericsson (what's the model again?)phone so he cldn't tear himself away frm it

cheng forgives Chris and entertains herself with her amateur photography skills
anyway we were at this new japanese pizza place at Citylink (pardon my short term memory, i never seem to recall names, albeit people or places :P) (just eat lar, names are secondary hur hur )
that was my oolong tea with vanilla ice cream. odd combi isn't it? and that's precisely how it tasted =..=
maybe i shd have opted for the boring but never-can-go-wrong japanese green tea..

chris had green milk tea. the drink kinda blends in with his shirt muahahahaha

i'm making it a habit to order salad everytime i'm out for dinner. sounds healthy right? not when you only order mayo-loaded ones kekeke.
that was the salmon salad (if i recall correctly) it looks like a lump of potato, but there's actually a generous serving of salmon hidden beneath. i like!

cheese wanton. disappointing. makes me angry *roar*

some beef pasta with chena-tasting sauce haha. chris likes this thou. as long as it's beef he likes LOL

seafood *pseudo* pizza? doesn't really taste like pizza to me (maybe bcos of the lack of cheese, i associate pizza with melted mozzarella cheese and melted mozarella cheese only hur hur) it's quite tasty, just doesn't quite fit my impression of 'pizza'

dessert was very good!!! the yellow thingy on top was chestnut! the green tea syrup wasn't too sweet, which complemented the sweet red bean paste~ my fav item for the night! (ok maybe i'm just a sucker for desserts)
thou dinner was rushed, glad we had met up for a quick update. lucky chris now in manila enjoying his new year. servant-for-the-state cheng has work in 3 hrs' time.
life.
oh i is a terrible friend. i totally forgot chris's bday!!! was feeling so awfullllll. hopefully the dinner kinda made up for my scatterbrain-ness *is there some bday-reminder product in the market?!?! i so need it*
met up with HY on Hari Raya Haji. freaking crowded everywhere. you tink Vivo is huge, and you find yourself rubbing shoulders with aunties overloaded with shopping bags
tink i have an anti-social streak. crowds make me frustrated. and grumpy. *curses under breath* *glares at anyone who crosses my path*

HY and sexy off shoulder :P
had a fabulous lunch at Dian Xiao Er. first timer there but i forsee myself becoming a regular patron :D

very good chinese dishes! i tink i'm a simple person. people can easily sway my mood with food. bad food ----> foul mood. good food ----> good mood. See the correlation? LOL

had the set meal for 2. and an additional fried rice. yeah we didn't finish everything.

thou we stuffed ourselves silly. shit i looked so glutton-y. HY has the talent of capturing your pic at your worst most un-glam moment hur hur.
Xiaohui's back in SG with David. There're 2 girls in the clique dating 2 Davids. I'm beginning to see a trend here....
Met up with Xiaohui + XH-Dav (to differentiate frm Sher-Dav hee) and gang. Was surprised when Xiaohui suggested Fish & Co for dinner, thought she'd be quite sick of western food after spending years in Aust
apparently seafood's exp in Aust (hmm i expected it to be cheaper leh)...think XH-Dav had enjoyed the platter for 2 :D (he practically finished everything as XH barely ate anything haha)

i looked surprised here. i was trying to look awake you see hur hur. PJ was smiling coyly as she refused to show her teeth, er, i mean lack of teeth wahahaha.
yeah PJ just got braces. She gotta remove a teeth or 2 beforehand. For more details, pls refer to her blog LOL.

skinny Kai who looks like she's diminishing everytime we meet up.
And everyone insists everyone else is skinnier =..= It's ego-boosting to be out with these girls hur hur hur.
Sher and Sher-Dav cldn't make it as they are
Oh and Sher-Dav is shortlisted as one of Cleo's Most Eligible Bachelor (currently in the stage of shortlisting the top 50, Sher-Dav is now in the top-70)
So girls, stop drooling at every year's bachelor list and think there's hope in life. Cleo defines 'bachelor' as 'not married'. 'Not married' doesn't necessarily mean 'not committed' hor :P

Bbq at XH's place on Xmas Eve. Er, technically speaking we didn't 'bbq'. Basically we hung ard and got served hur hur. XH's elder bros invited his frens, who were bbq-experts. They were our endless supply of bbq-food so we didn't have to lift a finger at all. And i'm not complaining :D
It's horrendous. The amt of liquor at XH's house and the amt her bro and frens consume. XH-Dav appears to be a bottomless-pit for beer LOL

Farewell for XH-Dav. Oops did I mention XH-Dav is ABC (Australia Born Chinese) and he's just here for a holi? We had a farewell dinner at Dian Xiao Er (yesh Dian Xiao Er again, you have a prob with that?! huh? huh ?!? huh?!?!)
XH and Xh-Dav very cute hor. You feel like pinching both of their cheeks, one hand on each's respective cheek hur hur.
Some old pics from Uni fren gathering...

Joleen~ One of my fav person from sch. We're not exactly close frens but she has a really sweet nature so I really like her! *er dun get it wrong, i'm totally straight*
Oh she's working in EMA and Peijun met her at MTI's Borderless Day! And guess what? they were sec sch frens! SG is indeed small man

Mostly from econs. Don't know some of them as they were fren's fren's fren blab blab blab. And many are working in govt agencies (EMA, Dept of Statistics etc)
For some strange reason a lot of graduates from my batch joined the public service, when in the past most wld go into banking. not to mention we graduated during the economy boom when the private sector's payin betta.
We're a patriotic batch :D
