attended my 1st bass lesson today. found a part-time tutor thru soft.com.sg, went over to his office at kreta ayer (one of those old HDB blocks in which the 1st few levels are used for offices/shops etc)
lesson went pretty well, quite impressed with his skills & techniques, wld be back for 2nd lesson next Sat :D
hang ard chinatown for a while after lesson, really like the old fashioned retro feel
and the koi bubble tea that my colleagues have been gushing abt!
went for the most common flavour - bubble milk tea (duh)! what i like abt koi is that you get to adjust the sweetness (eg. half sweet, quarter sweet etc) got the medium cup ($2.40) which is almost 1.5X of what you get frm sweettalk, and check out the generous amt of pearls!

oh yeah i brought my passport out but i forgot to drop by People's Park to apply for my Vietnamese visa grrrr
