Sorry LAH. that was painted without any coaching from the teacher. every student is asked to paint freely on his/her first lesson so the teacher wld know how good the student is and his/her standard

So i'm the student with good colors but lousy layout LOL

had my first proper lesson today

it's amazing how much enjoyment one could derive from painting boring still objects

and how different the same object appears on different canvas.

i'm totally loving oil painting! the only downside is that the washup's a friggin chore!

we're dealing with OIL here. which implies a lot of detergent and scrubbing. Urgh. that reminds me, i still have brushes to wash later :((
